Blog | New Carter Center Planned Giving Website Offers Interactive Tools, Helpful Information

Planned gifts are an excellent way to ensure that The Carter Center continues to wage peace, fight disease, and build hope far into the future, while also offering financial benefits to donors.  The new Carter Center planned giving website offers a wealth of information and interactive tools to help potential donors find a plan that fits their goals:

•  Estate Planning

    •  Plan by Age

•  Build Your Gift

    •  Gift Calculator

•  Gift Comparisons

    •  Monthly Feature Articles

Planned giving includes bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts, life insurance or retirement plan designations, and other provisions of future interest. There is no minimum dollar amount required for membership in the Carter Legacy Circle, the designation for planned giving donors. For many types of gifts, only a simple statement of commitment in writing is required to initiate a membership.

“Our programs are vitally important to the people we serve, and planned gifts will be crucial to the Carter Center’s ability to continue its life-giving mission for generations to come.  For this reason, we have made planned giving a major part of our own personal commitment.”

—Rosalynn and Jimmy Carter

By making The Carter Center part of overall estate or financial plans, Legacy Circle members help create a world where every man, woman and child has the opportunity to enjoy good health and live in peace.
