Where We Work: Trachoma Control Program

The Carter Center works with ministries of health to control and prevent blinding trachoma as a public health problem in Ethiopia, Niger, South Sudan, and Sudan. Ethiopia and South Sudan harbor the highest known burdens of trachoma in the world.
