The Carter Presidential Center is a 37-acre retreat located just two miles from downtown Atlanta, accessible via I-75/I-85 and John Lewis Freedom Parkway.

+What is included in the fee for the room?

  • Free on-site parking.
  • Setup and breakdown of all Carter Center property.
  • Basic audiovisual equipment.
  • Free wireless internet access.
  • Complimentary navy-blue linens for 6-foot check-in/registration/panel tables.
  • Event services staff on-site for the duration of the event.
  • Trained special events volunteers to greet, direct, and inform guests as needed.
  • 24-hour Carter Center security personnel.
  • Cleaning service during and after the event.
  • Access to the private grounds.
  • Exclusive catering provided by Proof of the Pudding.
  • Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum – available for after hours and special group tours (for an additional fee).

+Are outside caterers permitted at your facility? Can I bring in my own caterer or alcohol?

Proof of the Pudding is the exclusive caterer at The Carter Center. All food and beverage, including alcohol, must be provided by Proof of the Pudding. For information regarding menus and pricing, please contact our account executive listed under Exclusive Vendors located on the lower right-hand corner of this page.

+Where will my guests enter the building for my event?

Door signs will be posted on each set of doors directing guests to the correct entrance.

Ivan Allen III Pavilion Main Entrance - Events in the Cecil B. Day Chapel or Ivan Allen III Pavilion Main Foyer.

Executive Offices Entrance - Events in the Cyprus Room, Rotunda/Upper Commons, Lower Commons, Zaban Room or Executive Dining Room.

Museum Main Entrance - Events in the Library Lobby and Copenhill Cafe.

+Can my guests tour the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum during my event?

Yes, the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum is available for after hours and offers private group tours for a special rate. Learn more (PDF) >

+What are the payment terms for booking an event at The Carter Presidential Center?

A deposit is due two weeks after the issue date of the contract, and the final balance payment is due one week before the event date. Catering, audiovisual, and museum admission payments are made directly to each vendor.
